Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced AI/ML Solutions Engineer for the Grid Technologies team in Richland, MS. You will design, build, and implement AI-driven solutions across factory and office operations, collaborating with Operations, Digitalization, and external partners to industrialize successful use cases.

You will translate business needs into technical specs, review existing Siemens Energy platforms, and help deploy dashboards and training to empower end users in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• Approximately 3–5+ years of experience in data analytics, AI/ML, or digitalization, ideally with exposure to manufacturing or operations.
• Hands-on experience with Python (pandas, NumPy, etc.), SQL and VB.NET; data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Identify AI and analytics opportunities with production and office teams.
• Analyze data availability and feasibility for use cases.
• Review Siemens Energy AI solutions and evaluate applicability for new solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI/analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with IT/Digitalization and engineering to integrate AI solutions into operations and dashboards.
