AI/ML Engineer – Cleantech | US-Based (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer to be part of our expanding team, focusing on developing innovative AI-driven solutions for climate risk assessment and enhancing transparency in the carbon market. In this role, you’ll handle vast datasets, design efficient machine learning models, and implement them in real-world production systems.

Responsibilities

• Model Design & Optimization: Develop and fine-tune machine learning algorithms, including LLMs and RAG systems, aimed at tackling challenges in sustainability and climate science.
• AI System Implementation: Build production-ready AI solutions using cloud-based infrastructures, ensuring they are both scalable and reliable.
• Data Engineering: Process and organize large, complex environmental datasets to prepare them for training AI models.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into broader company systems.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3-5 years working as an AI/ML engineer with hands-on experience in deploying machine learning solutions at scale.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow), experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), MLOps (Docker, Kubernetes), and data pipeline tools (Apache Kafka, Airflow).
• Skills: Solid expertise in machine learning, geospatial data processing, and working with LLMs and RAG systems.
• Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a passion for utilizing AI to address critical environmental and sustainability issues.
