Job summary

General Motors is seeking an experienced AI/ML Data Scientist to own the end-to-end data science lifecycle for AI/ML initiatives. You will work with customers to understand challenges, develop new ML solutions, and collaborate with ML Ops in a cloud environment to deliver proof of concepts and deployed solutions.

You’ll work with business partners to identify opportunities, train models, prototype AI solutions, and refine models as technology evolves while communicating insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, engineering, data science, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for new AI/ML solutions with business partners.
• Train and deploy machine learning models to solve complex problems.
• Prototype Generative AI solutions and Agentic AI for business use cases.
• Enhance existing models as technology evolves.
• Provide statistical guidance and ad-hoc analyses for stakeholders.
• Develop storytelling to present results to leadership and customers.
