Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Senior Staff ML Engineer to lead generative AI initiatives, architect scalable AI/ML systems, and guide cross-functional teams across data science, software engineering, and product management.

You will own end-to-end AI solution development, from design to deployment, focusing on agentic workflows, knowledge search and conversational capabilities to deliver business value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing and building scalable production AI/ML applications in cloud environments.
• 5+ years owning end-to-end development, monitoring, and maintenance of scalable AI/ML applications.
• 5+ years experience with training, finetuning, real-time/batch inferencing and evaluation for AI/ML models in production.
• 5+ years of SDLC ownership including CI/CD, Kubernetes deployments, testing, monitoring and production support.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of high-performance AI solutions with agentic workflows for internal and customer-facing use.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product teams, and designers to define scope and roadmaps.
• Drive architectural choices, platform integration, and pragmatic tradeoffs for speed and reliability.
