Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented reviewers to evaluate AI-generated media from home on a flexible schedule. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, compare media pairs, and explain what is off in writing.

Your work helps steer AI systems toward better reasoning and output in real-world scenarios. Ideal candidates are fluent English speakers with strong attention to detail and the ability to clearly justify their judgments.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication in everyday conversational speech.
• High attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Able to think on your feet and explain decisions clearly in natural conversations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge prompt adherence.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distortions, flickering, or audio-video misalignment.
• Write a precise, written explanation in English pointing to observed issues.
