Job summary

Motion is seeking an AI Deployment Strategist to drive value with our Runneth platform for top DTC customers in a remote-first environment. You’ll own customer relationships, translate needs into custom AI-driven use cases, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and CS to scale solutions.

You’ll prototype quickly, guide roadmap input, and help customers leverage new features while maintaining strong, trusted partnerships. This role blends relationship work with hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Must build and manage relationships with top customers.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking to design Runneth use cases.
• Show strong problem-solving in ambiguous customer needs.
• Experience with AI-enabled workflows and automation is a plus.
• Clear, effective communication with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to own end-to-end customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Own the relationship with a focused group of top customers, talking with one or two of them most days to understand their goals, workflows, and what's getting in the way.
• Turn what you hear into custom Runneth use cases, from custom taxonomies and reporting to new data connections and workflows we haven't built yet.
• Prototype fast and scrappy to get customers a working solution, then hand off to Engineering when something needs to be built in the core product built properly.
• Bring what you learn back to the team, flagging which custom builds could become use cases for every customer and feeding customer insight into the Product roadmap.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to unblock technical issues, and with our CS team to understand what customers need next.
• Give customers honest, respectful guidance, including telling them when the fix is in their strategy rather than in the product.
• Be one of the first to try every new Runneth feature and figure out how customers can get the most out of it.
• Support our internal marketing team (content, creative strategy, and growth) and influencer partners on their Runneth use cases.
