Cozen O’Connor in Washington, DC is building a multidisciplinary Legal AI & Practice Transformation team to rethink how legal services are delivered. We are not just adding AI tools to existing workflows; we are creating capabilities to redesign how legal work gets done.

The AI Innovation Attorney – Litigation will partner with the firm’s litigation practices to identify high‑value opportunities to use AI, redesign workflows, and improve how legal work is delivered.

Qualifications

• Active bar membership and five+ years of substantive litigation experience.
• Hands-on experience using generative AI in legal work with informed judgment.
• Ability to translate between legal, technical, and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with litigation practices to redesign workflows and identify AI opportunities.
• Lead pilots from problem definition to adoption and scale AI-enabled workflows.
• Advise lawyers on effective AI use and ensure governance and quality.
• Develop reusable playbooks, prompts, and templates across matters.
