Job summary

West Virginia University Health System seeks an AI Literacy Specialist to bridge AI solutions with end users. Lead programs, workshops, and resources to promote responsible AI use across the organization.

You will design curricula, create guides, and support rollout of AI initiatives in partnership with product and IT teams. 40-hour weeks in a primarily office/remote work setting, with emphasis on education and governance.

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, healthcare information technology or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, information technology, education, or related field AND two (2) years' experience in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, healthcare information technology, or relatable IT experience.
• Experience developing IT training programs, workshops, educational content, or organizational learning initiatives.
• Experience creating user guides, job aids, knowledge bases, e-learning content, or other educational resources.
• Experience working within large healthcare, academic medical centers, or other regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI literacy programs, curricula, educational resources, and learning pathways for employees and leaders.
• Design and deliver instructor-led training, workshops, webinars, demonstrations, and awareness sessions related to AI technologies and organizational AI initiatives.
• Create and maintain user guides, reference materials, job aids, FAQs, training material, and other educational content supporting AI adoption.
• Support rollout and adoption activities for approved AI, automation, and digital solutions in partnership with product managers and technical teams.
• Provide end-user support, coaching, and guidance to promote effective and responsible use of AI technologies.
• Educate employees on AI governance requirements, privacy considerations, security practices, and responsible AI principles.
