Job summary

Marist University invites applications for an AI Literacy Specialist to advance the university's vision for responsible, applied artificial intelligence across teaching, learning, and operations. This position builds a scalable campuswide AI learning ecosystem that supports faculty, staff, and students in developing practical AI fluency.

The specialist designs and delivers training, consults on use cases, and creates resources that promote ethical, effective AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred in education, instructional design, or edtech.
• 1–3 years teaching or presenting on AI literacy or related tech.
• Experience using generative AI tools in educational contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI literacy programming for faculty, staff, and students.
• Consult with departments to identify AI use cases and tailor guidance.
• Develop centralized AI resources and Brightspace guides.
