Job summary

RWS Group is seeking a freelance language quality evaluator to work on Malayalam-English localization tasks. You will interact with an AI assistant in Malayalam, translate prompts from English, and evaluate AI responses for linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Malayalam.
• Strong English skills and ability to translate prompts into Malayalam.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of language-related experience.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines.

Requirements

• Strong English skills and ability to accurately translate prompts into Malayalam.
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Languages, Philology, Literature, or a related field plus at least 1 year of relevant experience; or 5+ years of professional language-related experience.
• Experience in linguistics, translation, localization, or related language-focused work preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed guidelines.
• Ability to independently assess AI-generated content and provide consistent, accurate evaluations.
• Comfort working with structured evaluation criteria and quality standards.
• Access to a personal iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS device.
