Job summary

RWS Group is seeking a detail-oriented evaluator to work with an AI assistant in Bengali. You will translate English prompts into Bengali to test the AI application and evaluate responses against project guidelines.

You will assess linguistic accuracy, naturalness, localization quality, and cultural appropriateness, providing structured, objective feedback and following the evaluation criteria.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Bengali (India).
• Strong English skills and ability to translate English prompts into Bengali.
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics/Translation/Languages or related field, or 5+ years language experience.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow guidelines and provide objective feedback.
• Experience in linguistics, translation, localization preferred.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Bengali (India).
• Strong English skills and the ability to accurately translate English prompts into Bengali.
• Excellent knowledge of Bengali grammar, spelling, linguistic nuances, and cultural context.
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Languages, Philology, Literature, or a related field plus at least 1 year of relevant professional experience; or at least 5 years of professional language-related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed guidelines.
• Ability to independently evaluate AI-generated content and provide consistent assessments.
• Experience in linguistics, translation, localization, or a related language-focused field is preferred.
• Access to a personal device running iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS.
• Ability to work independently and provide accurate, objective feedback.
