Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent with strong academic credentials; must be admitted to practice and in good standing in the base state.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in restructuring legal practice; other backgrounds considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Demonstrated ability to apply legal training to new contexts, including workflow design, tool development, or process improvement; personal or professional coding or tech-building experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Apply AI and emerging technologies to restructuring legal work, informed by lawyer workflows.
• Prototype, evaluate, and implement AI-assisted tools, document automation, and tech-enabled workflows.
• Participate in technology pilots and assessments, including AI-driven research, drafting, knowledge extraction, and platforms for distressed debt, court filings, and credit analytics.
• Collaborate with attorneys, technologists, and administrative teams to design practical, user-centered tools reflecting real-world practice needs.
• Lead training sessions to promote effective use of knowledge systems and AI tools.
• Capture feedback from lawyers and stakeholders to support continuous KM product improvements.
