Job summary

Gibson Dunn is seeking a Legal Technology Solutions Architect to advance AI-enabled workflows across the firm, designing scalable tools for practitioners and business services.

Reporting to the Manager and Attorney of Legal Technology and AI, the role emphasizes prompt engineering, synthetic data, and training materials, collaborating with IT, KM, and attorneys to drive secure, efficient solutions firm-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years in AI prompt engineering, workflow automation, or related roles.
• Experience with legal technology or AI-enabled solutions in professional services.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with generative AI platforms and large language models.
• Experience creating or using synthetic data for testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-enabled solutions across the firm.
• Develop and maintain prompt engineering frameworks.
• Create synthetic datasets to support testing and validation.
• Collaborate with attorneys and IT to adopt AI tools.
• Build and maintain intranet sites and internal portals.
• Evaluate emerging legal tech and AI tools via pilots.
• Develop documentation, playbooks, and best practices.
• Create training materials for attorneys and staff.
• Ensure solutions integrate with existing systems.
• Support ongoing improvements to internal AI tools.
• Monitor developments to identify opportunities for innovation.
