Humana Inc. seeks an AI Learning Design Lead to design and advance learning pathways that build role-based AI skills and support on-the-job application.

You’ll translate capability needs into practical experiences and guide design work across initiatives with the Enterprise Learning - AI Team. You will translate skill and performance needs into objectives and learning journeys, lead digital and live formats, and collaborate with partners to ensure high-quality, measurable outcomes while scaling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing learning solutions.
• Experience translating skill, business, or performance needs into measurable objectives.
• Experience supporting AI, emerging technology, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning, performance consulting, accessibility, assessment, and learning evaluation.
• Experience using generative AI and AI-enabled learning tools such as Articulate 360, Vyond, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, or similar platforms.
• Ability to guide design work, collaborate across functions, manage multiple projects, and influence without direct authority.
• Strong consulting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design learning pathways by translating needs into objectives, sequenced journeys, and assessments.
• Lead learning design across digital, live, virtual, and cohort-based formats for AI skilling.
• Create and curate solutions by organizing content into cohesive experiences.
• Apply standards in adult learning, performance consulting, and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with partners, AI product teams, SMEs, vendors, and learning colleagues to validate content.
• Coordinate design activities, timelines, reviews, and risk management across projects.
• Define measurement strategies and use data to improve pathways and experiences.
• Create reusable templates and approaches to scale learning design.
