Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Korean Language Expert (AI Training) to help evaluate and improve AI systems designed for Korean language learning. Your linguistic insight will shape how AI understands, assesses, and communicates in Korean for learners worldwide.

This is a remote, hourly-contract role with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week. You will work asynchronously with project leads and other language experts, contributing to higher quality AI Korean instruction and tutoring models.

Qualifications

• Native-level Korean proficiency required.
• Experience teaching Korean or evaluating learner language.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2).
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Korean speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing across CEFR levels Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
• Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI Korean instruction.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI Korean language instruction

Who You Are

• Native-level proficiency in Korean
• Experience teaching Korean or evaluating learner language
• Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
• Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR frameworks
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment
• No prior AI experience required
