Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Chinese Language Expert to help evaluate and improve AI systems designed for Chinese language learning. You will assess speech and text, provide structured feedback, and help tune instructional models used by learners worldwide.

This fully remote, hourly contract offers asynchronous collaboration, flexibility, and ongoing opportunities. You’ll work with project leads and language experts to raise the quality of AI-powered Chinese instruction and support CEFR-aligned

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Chinese.
• Experience teaching Chinese or evaluating learner language.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2).
• Bachelor's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Chinese speech and text for linguistic accuracy and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech/writing across CEFR levels Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Identify errors, awkward phrasing, and gaps in pedagogy with precision.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI tutoring and language models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and other experts.
• Help raise overall quality and reliability of AI Chinese instruction.

Chinese Language Expert (AI Training)

We're looking for Chinese language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for Chinese language learning and instruction. Your linguistic insight and teaching experience will directly shape how AI understands, assesses, and communicates in Chinese — making a real impact on learners around the world.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated Chinese speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
• Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert precision
• Provide clear, structured feedback that directly improves AI tutoring and language-learning models
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
• Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction

Who You Are

• Native-level proficiency in Chinese
• Experience teaching Chinese or evaluating learner language
• Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
• Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR frameworks
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing
• Exposure to AI-powered language tools or educational technology
• Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
