Alignerr is seeking an Italian Language Expert to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Italian content. The role is remote, hourly, with at least 15 hours per week and fully asynchronous. You will assess AI-generated Italian speech and writing, providing feedback to enhance learning tools and tutoring models.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Italian.
• Experience teaching Italian or evaluating learner language.
• Strong written communication in Italian and English (C1/C2).
• Familiar with CEFR frameworks.
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelors degree or higher.
• Attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech and text for linguistic accuracy and pedagogical quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing across CEFR levels Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment.
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Italian.
• Provide structured feedback that directly improves AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.

Italian Language Expert (AI Training)

What You'll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
• Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Italian
• Provide structured feedback that directly improves AI tutoring and language-learning models
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in Italian
• Experience teaching Italian or evaluating learner language
