Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking an Italian Language Expert (AI Training) for a remote, hourly contract role. The position focuses on evaluating and improving AI systems trained on Italian content, shaping how AI understands and teaches Italian.

You will assess learner language from CEFR Pre-A1 to B2+, provide precise feedback, and collaborate asynchronously with project leads to enhance language-learning models.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Italian required.
• Experience teaching Italian or evaluating learner language.
• Strong written communication in Italian and English (C1/C2).
• Solid familiarity with CEFR frameworks and learner speech patterns.
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Italian content for linguistic accuracy and naturalness.
• Assess learner speech across CEFR levels from Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert precision.
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally authentic Italian.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
