Job summary

This role supports innovation, branding, and regulatory compliance across the enterprise. The ideal candidate has 3+ years as a paralegal in IP or tech law, strong communication, and experience in corporate IP management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in intellectual property, technology law, or artificial intelligence.
• Strong interpersonal skills and strong planning/organization abilities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Team player with the ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities with short deadlines.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide AI legal advice and AI governance support, including reviewing and maintaining AI-related documents.
• Participate in AI governance processes and liaise with internal stakeholders on AI laws and regulations.
• Coordinate, maintain, and manage the company's IP portfolio of trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets; support filings, maintenance, and budgets.
• Assist with invention disclosures and patent filings; support competitive monitoring of third-party IP.
• Advise on IP issues in advertising and marketing; train internal teams on IP matters.
• Manage outside counsel and paralegals as needed.
• Draft, review, and revise AI and IP contract terms with counsel.
• Maintain and organize files and records per company standards.
