Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice regarding AI governance, risk and compliance.
• Formulate guidance for City departments on employees’ use of AI in their job functions.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, technology, and risk management resources to develop AI policies.
• Monitor governmental regulatory environment and industry standards for AI governance.
• Handle or oversee data sharing, data privacy, security, IP, and regulatory matters as needed.
• Oversee AI-related or cybersecurity litigation as appropriate.
