Job summary

VIATEQ is seeking an experienced AI Integration Lead to champion the evaluation, integration, deployment, and optimization of AI platforms across client environments in Washington, DC. The role demands hands-on experience with Perplexity AI and other enterprise AI tools, governance responsibilities, and collaboration with IT leadership.

The position is hybrid, onsite three days per week in Washington, with the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance and strong emphasis on secure, compliant AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 8+ years in IT systems integration or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years deploying or integrating AI/ML platforms in enterprise environments.
• Experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Experience developing AI governance or data privacy frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI platform integration initiatives with Perplexity AI and enterprise tools.
• Oversee evaluation, piloting, deployment, and scaling of AI solutions.
• Identify AI use cases with stakeholders to boost efficiency and decision support.
• Design architectures connecting AI platforms to enterprise systems and APIs.
• Develop AI governance, data privacy, and bias mitigation guidelines.
• Monitor performance, usage, and quality of AI outputs; drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity/compliance to address AI risk.
• Provide training and change management for end users of AI tools.
• Produce reports for IT leadership on progress and risks.
