Job summary

Mi-Case is seeking an AI Integration Engineer / Specialist to accelerate how our engineering and delivery teams use AI coding tools, agents, and workflows. This hands-on role builds infrastructure, tooling, and documentation that makes AI agents productive across our codebase, product suite, and customer deployments while aligning with CJIS and FedRAMP requirements.

You will own the agent development environment, design MCP server integrations, and create reusable agent skills and prompts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, with hands-on work with AI coding agents and AI-assisted development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the agentic development environment—ensure AI agents can operate in secure, isolated, cloud-based development environments that respect CJIS, FedRAMP, and customer data handling requirements.
• Build tooling and MCP integrations—design and implement Model Context Protocol server integrations that connect AI agents to CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and knowledge sources.
• Documentation and context engineering—own the repo-wide AGENTS.md and ensure conventions and architectural patterns are exposed to agents in usable formats.
• Develop and curate a library of reusable agent skills, prompts, and orchestration patterns aligned to Mi-Case product domains.
• Enable non-engineers to contribute safely by improving tooling, prompts, and workflow design.
• Support customer-facing AI features by integrating AI capabilities into Mi-Case products with emphasis on security and observability.
• Stay on the leading edge of AI productivity tooling and drive adoption across Mi-Case.
• Implement guardrails and evaluation harnesses for responsible AI in engineering.
