Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Staff Application Security Engineer - AI & Agentic Systems to secure the next generation of AI-enabled apps, LLM integrations, and agentic workflows. You will help define secure design patterns, perform threat modeling, and guide engineering teams on secure development practices.

You will collaborate with platform, product, and data teams to ensure secure and responsible AI adoption across the enterprise, while mentoring others and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing, building, or securing enterprise-scale applications and platforms.
• 5+ years of application security experience, including threat modeling, secure design, code review, and vulnerability management.
• 5+ years of programming experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or Go.
• 3+ years of experience developing or securing AI, ML, or generative AI solutions.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Define secure design patterns for AI-enabled applications and agentic systems.
• Conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security assessments.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and threat modeling practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security in roadmaps.
