Job summary

Spot Freight, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer II focused on AI Integration to design and implement new features for our logistics platform using .NET and C#. You’ll refine and scale solutions, ensuring performance and alignment with modern standards.

You will work on AI Agents, Document Intelligence, image processing and related initiatives, collaborating with a cross‑functional team on on‑site projects in Tampa.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in CS or related field or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of professional .NET/C# experience/exposure.
• Expertise in building agentic AI workflows and autonomous AI systems.
• Familiarity with RAG pipelines, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI/LLM solutions for business goals.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative source control concepts.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AI services with diverse business workflows using a fully programmatic approach.
• Leverage the .NET ecosystem to deliver performant, stable user experiences.
• Engineer efficient solutions and investigate performance and behavior questions.
• Contribute code and participate in code reviews using source control.
• Communicate effectively as barriers arise and ideas surface.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design discussions.
