Job summary

Pipestone Area School District seeks an AI Instructional Coach to support teachers in integrating artificial intelligence into classroom instruction. The coach will work with educators to build confidence and capacity in using the district-selected AI tool to enhance teaching, learning, and student outcomes with a student-centered focus.

This role focuses on practical classroom application rather than technology troubleshooting, emphasizing coaching and instructional support across grade levels

Qualifications

• Minnesota teaching license or equivalent preferred.
• Proven success as a classroom educator, instructional coach, or related educational role.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, modeling, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to integrate AI into instruction and planning.
• Model AI-enabled instructional strategies and co-teach when appropriate.
• Provide individualized and small-group coaching based on teacher needs and goals.
• Help teachers develop effective AI prompts, workflows, and learning activities.
• Assist educators in evaluating AI content for accuracy, bias, and instructional value.
• Promote responsible and ethical AI use, including student privacy and attribution.
