Job summary

Educational Service Center of Central Ohio seeks an Emerging Technology Specialist to lead AI literacy initiatives, design professional learning, and advise districts on responsible AI adoption. You will guide governance practices and help build district capacity for ethical technology use.

You will partner with educators and administrators to develop readiness plans, evaluate tools, and deliver impactful professional development that enhances teaching, learning, and operations across the region.

Qualifications

Knowledge of AI concepts and educational applications.
Experience planning and delivering professional development for adult learners.
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Willingness to travel within the ESCCO service region.

Responsibilities

Provide consultation and technical assistance to member districts on AI literacy and emerging technologies.
Design, develop, and deliver professional learning on AI literacy and emerging technologies.
Assist with AI readiness plans, governance, and policy guidance for districts.
Support districts in evaluating AI tools for educational and operational use.
Develop AI-related resources and best practices; collaborate with district leaders and stakeholders.
