Job summary

Loyola Marymount University seeks an ITS Manager of AI & Innovative Technologies Strategy to lead LMU’s cross‑functional enablement of responsible AI and GenAI across teaching, learning, research, and operations.

The role drives governance, pilots, and scaling of AI tools, while building faculty and staff enablement and ensuring compliant, secure AI implementations with strong data governance.

Qualifications

• Typically a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Learning Technologies, Data/Analytics, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Five years of progressive experience leading evaluation, planning, implementation, and adoption of innovative technology and AI in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and roadmap for AI and innovative technologies across LMU.
• Coordinate pilots, scale deployments, and measure adoption with clear KPIs.
• Build AI literacy and enablement programs for faculty, staff, and students.
• Ensure secure, compliant AI implementations with data governance.
