Job summary

Google LLC in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer for Compute within Google Cloud. You will own complex customer issues, provide specialized support, and work with global teams to ensure AI/ML workloads deploy reliably on AI Infrastructure products.

The role combines hardware and software debugging, Linux system administration, and scripting. You will help improve the product and tools while advocating for customer needs, with occasional non-standard hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in STEM.
• Troubleshoot and triage complex issues across hardware and software stacks.
• Linux/Unix admin experience and debugging across hardware/software boundary.

Responsibilities

• Manage customers' problems through diagnosis, resolution, or new tooling to improve AI/ML deployment productivity.
• Build understanding of AI/ML workloads and hardware architectures; reproduce root causes and develop faster diagnosis tools.
• Act as SME for Engineering, Sales, and customer teams to resolve complex deployment obstacles.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering and SRE to improve production quality and tooling.
• Be available for non-standard hours or weekends as needed.
