Job summary

CDW is seeking an AI Infrastructure Consulting Engineer to design, implement, validate, and support high‑performance compute and storage solutions for enterprise AI/ML workloads. This client‑facing, billable role ensures solutions are delivered as designed and aligned with the client's requirements.

You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to manage scope, schedule, and budget, perform discovery and benchmarking, and create thorough documentation and client handoff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of infra delivery, or 7 years of infra delivery experience.
• Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting enterprise compute/storage.
• Working knowledge of accelerated computing platforms (NVIDIA DGX/HGX).
• Understanding AI workloads including training, inference, and data management.
• Experience with Linux administration and performance troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel to CDW locations or client sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage time and expenses per SOW, escalating scope, schedule, or budget issues as needed.
• Implement accelerated compute and high-performance storage for AI workloads.
• Perform discovery, installation, migration, validation, benchmarking, and troubleshooting across client environments.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, sales teams, partners, and client stakeholders to manage timelines and expectations.
• Provide technical input for SOWs, ROMs, LOEs, and implementation plans.
• Create and maintain accurate project documentation and client handoff materials.
