CDW is seeking an AI Infrastructure Consulting Engineer to implement, validate, and optimize high‑performance network fabrics for accelerated computing and distributed AI workloads. You will translate workload and topology requirements into reliable GPU cluster networking configurations in client environments.

The role requires hands‑on data‑center networking experience, expertise in InfiniBand/RoCE, and the ability to produce clear documentation and test plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience delivering complex network or data‑center infra solutions, or 7 years of experience in similar roles.
• Hands‑on experience implementing and troubleshooting enterprise data‑center networks.
• Working knowledge of Ethernet switching, routing, VLANs, LAG/MLAG, BGP, cabling, optics, telemetry, and network validation.
• Understanding of lossless fabric concepts: priority flow control, ECN, congestion management, buffering, and QoS.
• Experience with InfiniBand, RoCE, RDMA, GPUDirect RDMA, or similar high‑performance networking tech.
• Ability to read network designs, port maps, BOMs, cable matrices, and implementation plans.
• Ability to build and execute test plans aligned with project deliverables and SOW.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with leadership and client interaction.
• Ability to create accurate as‑built documentation and transfer knowledge to clients.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to balance priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to CDW locations or client sites; occasional overtime.
• NVIDIA certifications (NCP‑AIN, NCP‑AII) are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage time and expense to meet or exceed SOW expectations; escalate scope, schedule, or budget issues.
• Implement and validate high‑performance AI network fabrics using InfiniBand, Ethernet, RoCE, or related tech.
• Configure and troubleshoot lossless networking, congestion management, QoS, routing, telemetry, cabling, optics, and fabric‑management components.
• Support GPU‑to‑GPU, node‑to‑node, storage, management, and client network connectivity for distributed training and inference.
• Execute installation, configuration, burn‑in, performance validation, troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge transfer in customer environments.
• Provide technical input for SOWs, ROMs, LOEs, and implementation plans.
• Create and maintain accurate project docs, as‑built configurations, test plans, logs, and client handoff materials.
