Job summary

CDW is seeking an AI Infrastructure Consulting Engineer to design, implement, validate, and support high-performance infrastructure for enterprise AI/ML workloads. This client-facing, billable role ensures solutions meet client satisfaction and approvals, understanding environments, and aligning compute, storage, data movement, resiliency, and operations.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, implement accelerated compute and storage, perform discovery and benchmarking, and collaborate

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years delivering complex infrastructure solutions.
Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting enterprise compute and storage.
Working knowledge of accelerated computing platforms (NVIDIA DGX/HGX).
Understanding AI workloads: ingest, training, inference, model mgmt.
Experience with high-performance storage architectures and protocols.
Linux administration; performance tuning and validation.
Ability to build and execute implementation/test plans.
Strong written and verbal communication; document designs.

Responsibilities

Manage time and expense per the Statement of Work, flagging scope/budget risks.
Implement and integrate accelerated compute and high-performance storage for AI workloads.
Perform discovery, installation, configuration, migration, validation, benchmarking, and transfer knowledge.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, sales, partners, and clients to manage risks.
Provide input for SOWs, ROMs, LOEs, plans, and validation when requested.
Create and maintain project documentation, as-built configs, test plans, and handoff materials.
