Job summary

CDW is seeking an AI Infrastructure Consulting Engineer to design, implement, validate, and support high-performance AI compute and storage solutions for enterprise workloads. You will manage client projects, perform installation, benchmarking, and knowledge transfer across diverse environments, with a focus on accelerated computing and scalable storage.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or 3 years’ experience with complex infrastructure solutions.
Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting enterprise compute and storage infrastructure.
Knowledge of accelerated computing platforms (NVIDIA DGX/HGX) or equivalent.
Understanding AI workloads from ingest to model management.
Experience with high-performance or scale-out storage architectures (NFS/SMB/object storage).
Linux administration, firmware/driver dependencies, system validation, health checks, performance troubleshooting.
Ability to design and execute implementation/test plans aligned to SOW.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to transfer knowledge to clients.
Detail-oriented with analytical problem-solving; able to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

Manage time and expenses per the Statement of Work and escalate scope/schedule/budget issues early.
Implement and integrate accelerated compute and high-performance storage for AI workloads.
Perform discovery, installation, configuration, migration, validation, benchmarking, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, sales, partners, and clients to manage expectations and timelines.
Provide technical input for SOWs, ROMs, LOEs, implementation plans, and validation.
Create and maintain project documentation, as-built configs, test plans, logs, and handoff materials.
