Job summary

CDW is seeking an AI Infrastructure Consulting Engineer to implement and support platforms that schedule, govern, and operate enterprise AI workloads. You will work across Kubernetes-based environments to enable secure, multi-user access to accelerated computing resources while interfacing with clients to ensure solutions meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7 years' experience delivering complex platform, infrastructure, or cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes in production or customer environments.
• Experience with containers, registries, Helm, operators, storage classes, and RBAC.
• Knowledge of GPU scheduling, quotas, tenancy, resource allocation in AI environments.
• Experience with Run:ai, ClearML, Slurm or similar orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in Linux, scripting, APIs, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure automation.
• Ability to design and execute implementation and test plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for leadership and clients.
• Attention to detail, problem solving, and prioritization.
• Willingness to travel to CDW locations or client sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage time and expense to meet SOW expectations and escalate issues early.
• Implement and configure AI workload orchestration and platform services across environments.
• Deploy Kubernetes, Run:ai, ClearML, Slurm, and NVIDIA components within engagements.
• Perform discovery, installation, configuration, validation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with security, networking, compute, storage, apps, and data teams to resolve dependencies.
• Create and maintain project docs, as-built configs, test plans, logs, and handoff materials.
