Job summary

CDW is seeking an AI Infrastructure Consulting Engineer specializing in AI Networking & Fabric Architecture to implement, validate, and optimize high‑performance network fabrics for distributed AI workloads. This client‑facing, billable role translates workload and topology into reliable GPU cluster configurations and data‑center infrastructure.

You will manage SOWs, run installation and validation, and produce as‑built docs and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in complex network or data‑center solutions, or 7 years total.
Hands‑on experience with enterprise data‑center networks.
Familiarity with lossless fabric concepts and validation.
Experience with InfiniBand, RoCE, RDMA, or related technologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to document solutions.

Responsibilities

Manage time and expense per SOW and escalate potential scope, schedule, or budget issues.
Implement and validate high‑performance AI network fabrics (InfiniBand, Ethernet, RoCE).
Configure and troubleshoot lossless networking, QoS, and fabric‑management components.
Support GPU‑to‑GPU, node‑to‑node, storage, and client connectivity for distributed training and inference.
Execute installation, validation, testing, and knowledge transfer in customer environments.
Create and maintain accurate project documentation and as‑built configurations.
