Job summary

Anthropic is hiring an Infrastructure Capacity Planner in San Francisco to own the medium-range demand forecast across accelerators, CPU, storage, and network. You will drive planning loops, surface variances, and ensure forecasts align with regional constraints and contracts.

Collaboration with Finance will translate forecasts into cost drivers and savings opportunities. The role emphasizes building transparent, inspectable models using SQL and Python/Pandas, with a focus on large-scale

Qualifications

• Have done capacity, demand, or supply planning for large-scale technical infra.
• Build the model yourself: SQL against a warehouse, Python/Pandas or forecasting stack.
• Understand data-center resource classes and forecasting vs. allocation.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the medium-range multi-resource demand forecast for accelerator, CPU, storage, and network.
• Run plan-vs-reality loop; surface unrecorded trades and drive variance toward zero.
• Qualify each incoming capacity tranche against forecast: right shape, region, quarter, and envelope.
• Partner with Finance to turn forecast into core cost drivers and savings opportunities.
