Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking a Manager, Infrastructure Capex Accounting to own end-to-end accounting for AI infrastructure capex and fixed assets, including monthly close and CIP tracking. You will apply ASC 360 and collaborate with Data Center Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure accurate reporting.

You will mentor junior staff, drive process improvements, and support auditors as the company scales its asset base in a hybrid San Francisco office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in tech or infrastructure-heavy environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of ASC 360 and fixed asset accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounting for capex and fixed asset portfolio, including monthly close and CIP tracking.
• Apply ASC 360 to capitalization, useful lives, impairment, disposals and asset retirements.
• Partner with Data Center Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure accounting implications are understood before commitments.
• Mentor junior accounting professionals and act as a finance partner to non-finance stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and automation to enhance financial reporting.
