Job summary

Highrise AI in San Francisco combines GPU-native infrastructure with managed services to support large‑scale AI workloads. We’re seeking a mid‑level AI Infrastructure Operations Engineer to own Tier 2 incident management and day‑to‑day operation of production AI clusters.

You will troubleshoot Linux compute nodes, GPU systems, storage services, and automation scripts, working with NOC, SRE, and on‑site technicians.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
3–6 years supporting Linux servers, HPC, cloud, or data-center infrastructure.
Experience with Bash or Python scripting for diagnostics and automation.
Exposure to NVIDIA GPU systems, Kubernetes, Slurm, or AI storage platforms is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with BMC interfaces and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Own Tier 2 incident management from triage to resolution, escalation, or handoff.
Diagnose compute and storage faults using system logs, dashboards, and management interfaces.
Coordinate with NOC and site teams to restore service within SLA targets.
Troubleshoot Linux servers, GPU health, firmware/driver issues, and resource problems.
Assist with upgrades, maintenance, and change controls; document outcomes.
