Job summary

Highrise AI seeks a principal‑level AI Systems Engineer to design, deploy, integrate, and operate large‑scale AI compute clusters. You will lead deployment of general‑purpose compute, virtualization, storage, and identity management alongside security platforms.

You will provide Tier 3 escalation, advanced troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of production infrastructure across multi‑site deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS/engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years building and operating enterprise or HPC infrastructure.
• Expert Linux administration, automation, and integration skills.
• Experience with virtualization, storage platforms, and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and configuration of general-purpose servers and OSs.
• Design and manage virtualized infrastructure with VMware, KVM, Proxmox.
• Automate provisioning, imaging, firmware, and config workflows.
• Integrate DNS, DHCP, NTP, IPAM, DCIM like Infoblox/NetBox.
• Provide Tier 3 support and optimize production infrastructure.
