Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Product Manufacturing & Quality Engineer to drive manufacturing readiness, quality plans, and reliability testing for AI hardware from concept to mass production. You will coordinate with design engineering, operations, and external partners to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with quality standards.

The role requires hands-on ownership of process controls, qualification plans, and audits across multiple levels.

Qualifications

• Own the integrated manufacturing and quality readiness for a product across multiple levels.
• Lead readiness of process flows, tooling, fixtures, assembly operations, test interfaces, and production controls.
• Translate product requirements into qualification plans, process controls, test requirements and acceptance criteria with design engineering and area SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated manufacturing and quality readiness for products across L6, L10, and L11.
• Lead readiness of process flows, tooling, fixtures, and production controls.
• Review and contribute to work instructions and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate qualification, reliability testing, and validation with SMEs; maintain traceable evidence of performance and reliability.
• Own supplier and line scorecards; use yield, defects, and process data to drive improvements and verify effectiveness.
• Lead containment, root cause investigation, and corrective actions to closure with evidence.
• Work on-site with SMEs at supplier locations to assess line readiness and verify controls.
• Lead JDM/CM manufacturing and quality audits and drive gaps to closure.
• Assess impact of design/process changes and coordinate validation with owners.
• Provide evidence-based release recommendations using readiness gates and controls.
• Manage multiple projects, track milestones, and communicate risks across functions.
