Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to lead the development and management of a comprehensive Quality Program across global campuses, focusing on people, processes and accountability through vendor management and strong site partnerships.

You will drive vendor audits, establish metrics, mentor vendor teams, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure day-one readiness, on-time delivery and operational reliability while advancing AI-enabled quality

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience of Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Improvement, Process Management or Mission Critical Engineering/Construction/Operations.
• Experience applying root cause analysis, statistical process control, and quality tools (8D, FMEA, fishbone diagrams).
• Certified ASQ quality manager, quality engineer, or auditor; Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
• Experience liaising cross-functionally with stakeholders and executives; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vendor audits, set strategic vendor improvement objectives and refine vendor processes.
• Develop and monitor quality program metrics and analyze trends to drive corrective actions.
• Mentor off-site vendor teams and coordinate with Regional Quality Managers, Building Management System, and trade partners.
• Manage systemic vendor RCA and site escalation mitigation strategies.
• Establish cross-functional processes for efficient scope execution and communications.
• Provide leadership to MOFE and operations teams interfacing with sourcing, design, and construction.
• Oversee OFCI management quality, onboarding and training of vendor personnel.
• Coordinate quality issues and schedules across Design, Infrastructure, and Supply Chain teams.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed (50-60%).
