d-Matrix is seeking a Director of Quality and Reliability Engineering to own quality, reliability, and supplier programs for AI hardware platforms, including ASICs, cards, servers, and racks. You will build and scale the QMS, drive fault-tolerant design, and lead teams across design, manufacturing, and sourcing to deliver high availability at data-center scale.

You have 15+ years in hardware quality, 5+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams, and hands-on experience with ODMs/CMs, MTBF, RDT/ORT,

Competenze

15+ years in hardware quality and reliability engineering.
5+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams.
BS/MS in EE/ME or related engineering field.
Experience with server-class systems, AI accelerators, or data center hardware.
Proven track record building or scaling a QMS for high-volume ramps.
Hands-on across supplier, manufacturing, and customer quality including ODMs/CMs.
Component engineering: qualification, AVL, second sourcing, lifecycle management.
Familiar with reliability fundamentals and quality tools (MTBF, RDT, ORT; 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, SPC, DOE).
ISO 9001 lead auditor experience or equivalent.

Mansioni

Build and scale the QMS with CAPA governance across product levels.
Design and run RMA, reverse logistics, and failure analysis processes.
Drive reliability programs (qualification, RDT, MTBF, ORT) and fault-tolerant design.
Establish supplier and manufacturing quality programs with audits and controls.
Lead Component Engineering for boards and higher; lifecycle management.
Define quality KPIs and dashboards; report to executive leadership.
Be the quality voice in product release, shipment readiness, audits, and escalations.
