Job summary

IC Resources is partnering with a fast-growing AI semiconductor startup building custom hardware for large-scale AI workloads. We seek an experienced architect to own hardware architecture at the chip or subsystem level, working across AI accelerator, memory, interconnect, and performance modelling.

You will collaborate with research, software and hardware teams to balance performance, power and area, and you should come from CPU/ GPU/ AI accelerator or HPC architecture. Bay Area | Hybrid.

Qualifications

• Experience designing CPU/GPU/AI accelerator architecture.
• Strong background in hardware and software co-design.

• Memory and data movement
• Interconnect and distributed systems
• Performance modelling and optimization
• Hardware and software co design

You'll work closely with research, software and hardware teams to understand workloads, define architecture and make the tradeoffs around performance, power and area.

They're looking for someone coming from a CPU, GPU, AI accelerator or high performance computing architecture background who is comfortable getting deep into both hardware and software.
