Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an AI Program Manager to lead the enterprise AI Governance Roadmap, coordinating cross-functional execution across governance, risk, security, privacy, and data domains. The role drives ownership, evidence, and momentum among executives and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in similar programs, strong governance knowledge, and a proven ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans, with a hybrid, Northern Virginia-based work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in program management, governance, or risk in financial services.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams and executive stakeholders.
• Knowledge of AI governance concepts: lifecycle, risk, third‑party risk, data governance, auditing.
• Strong delivery discipline: roadmap planning, RAID, governance routines, executive reporting.
• Ability to translate regulatory, risk, security, privacy, data, tech, and business requirements into actionable plans.
• Excellent facilitation and executive communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive materials.
• Detail-oriented with focus on evidence, documentation, dashboards, and readiness artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated planning and execution for the AI Governance Roadmap across phases.
• Coordinate delivery across AI governance, risk, security, privacy, data governance, and automation workstreams.
• Develop integrated roadmap, milestones, RAID log, and cadence.
• Drive stakeholder alignment with senior leaders and vendors; define scope and ownership.
• Facilitate working sessions, risk reviews, and decision forums to close items.
• Track roadmap risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and action items with owners.
• Support AI lifecycle, intake, inventory, risk classification, testing, and governance operating model.
• Ensure governance deliverables include evidence, controls, audit-ready docs, and procedures.
• Prepare executive updates, steering materials, dashboards, and status reports.
