Job summary

Dodge & Cox is seeking an AI Governance Program Manager to organize and drive cross-functional governance work within the AI Governance pillar, coordinating Legal, Compliance, Risk, and InfoSec while tracking deliverables, deadlines, and decisions.

Reporting to the pillar lead, you will support decision-making, policy-to-deployment reviews for AI tools, and maintain robust project documentation as the AI operating model matures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in program or project management with governance initiatives.
• Experience designing or maturing governance processes, operating models, or control frameworks.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across legal, compliance, risk, and/or information security.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to distill large information for varied audiences.
• High emotional intelligence to build trust, influence, and drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage governance workstreams end-to-end: track deliverables, deadlines, dependencies, and risks.
• Coordinate governance reviews across Legal, Compliance, Risk, InfoSec and stakeholders; ensure documented outcomes.
• Facilitate pillar decision-making by preparing materials and guiding discussions to resolution.
• Manage policy-to-deployment reviews for new AI tools in coordination with Infrastructure pillar.
• Update policies, standards, procedures, and governance frameworks; identify recurring issues.
• Prepare governance updates and materials for the AI Steering Group.
• Maintain project documentation, status reporting, and a clear record of decisions.
