Job summary

Toyota is seeking an AI Governance Manager to lead governance and oversight of enterprise AI tools and use cases. You will direct a two-person analyst team and act as the central lead for governance activities, including subcommittee coordination, risk reviews, and platform administration.

You will ensure AI tools and use cases are cataloged, assessed, monitored, and validated in line with standards, regulatory obligations, and risk management requirements across the enterprise lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field.
• 5–10 years of relevant work experience in governance or risk roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with model risk management in regulated environments.
• Ability to challenge designs through governance questioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead a two-senior-analyst team delivering AI governance operations and oversight.
• Monitor AI tools for governance guardrails, approvals, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate cross-functional governance discussions with IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, and Risk.
• Own the GRC tool to inventory, track, and report AI use cases.
• Aggregate and report governance metrics for leadership and committees.
• Manage escalation workflows and remediation tracking for governance gaps.
