Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an AI Governance & Assurance Strategy Manager within Audit & Assurance to drive strategic initiatives and alignment with Digital Controls, AI & Automation teams. You will lead client engagements, develop AI tools and assets, and coordinate across MDM areas to ensure AI Assurance is embedded in firm-wide initiatives.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and guidance on AI standards, with opportunities to train SMEs and mentor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology, computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of governance, controls, IT or data protection experience.
• 1+ year of AI systems experience.
• Training in AI management system audits and audit management.
• Experience conducting audits, risk assessments and audit reporting.
• Willingness to travel ~25% on average.
• Co-location with client teams ~3 days/week as needed.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Assurance strategic initiatives and coordinate with related teams.
• Collaborate across AI and Automation and Digital Controls teams.
• Lead client pursuits and engagement delivery for AI Governance & Assurance.
• Develop AI Assurance tools, assets, and partnerships with third parties.
• Ensure Assurance is integrated into firm-wide AI initiatives across A&A.
• Deliver AI SME training for clients and internal staff.
• Align with enabling areas to embed AI Assurance in growth activities.
• Lead market research on AI industry trends and opportunities.
