Job summary

HellaGoodAudio is seeking an AI Programmer to integrate AI behavior and systems for games using Unreal 4 or proprietary engines. You will collaborate with game designers to balance AI within levels and provide the tools needed to integrate AI into scenes.

You will regularly profile AI systems to optimize performance and assist in asset integration, while addressing AI bugs with QA. Strong knowledge of pathfinding, FSMs/Behavior Trees, and solid problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• Work Experience with Unreal 4.
• Work Experience with C++.
• Solid understanding of path-finding algorithms in games and how to implement them.
• Strong understanding of decision-making models such as Finite-State-Machines or Behavior Trees.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AI behavior and systems for games using Unreal 4 or proprietary engines.
