The ideal candidate has shipped titles with AAA AI, deep C++ skills, and strong Unreal Engine expertise (UE4/UE5), plus experience with behavior trees, pathfinding, perception, and modern animation techniques.

Qualifications

• Proven Unreal Engine 4/5 experience.
• Deep experience with modern game AI architecture (Behavior Trees, pathfinding, perception).
• Experience with root motion, distance matching, motion warping, blend spaces, state machines.

Responsibilities

• Own the implementation, hardening, and polish of AI behaviors and systems to shipping quality.
• Collaborate with design, animation, and other disciplines to iterate on AI features.
• Ensure AI systems are reliable and performant for a great player experience.
