Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Software Development Manager to lead the Specialist AI Tooling engineering team.

This role drives four interconnected AI-native products that power AWS’s specialist ecosystem, including an agentic learning system, an intelligent routing engine, TFC Hub, and a GenAI summarization engine. You will own the engineering strategy, hire and mentor engineers, and partner with Product, Science, and field leadership to deliver scalable, production-grade AI systems at AWS

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management
• 7+ years of engineering experience
• 6+ years of leading multi-tier web services
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a team of SDEs building four interconnected AI-native products
• Architect and ship production agentic AI systems using LLMs, knowledge graphs, and RAG
• Build, manage and develop a high-performing SDE team and drive operational excellence
• Evolve intelligent routing algorithms matching specialist requests to domain experts
• Design and operate GenAI summarization pipelines transforming customer feedback into actionable insights
• Own the technical strategy and roadmap across all four products and collaborate with leadership
