Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own end-to-end development of enterprise web apps. You will design, build, and coach with a strong focus on AI-enabled code generation and secure, scalable microservices.

You will lead in design, architecture, and delivery across Angular front-ends and Java/Spring Boot back-ends, with data modelling and CI/CD integration. Strong banking domain understanding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in systems analysis, design patterns and SDLC.
• 6+ years with Java and Spring Boot for scalable microservices.
• Hands-on Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and front-end tech.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL Server and MongoDB databases.
• Proficient with AI coding tools and prompt engineering.
• GitHub for source control and Jira for project management.
• Agile/Scrum delivery and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale web apps on microservices stack.
• Lead system design, diagrams, data models while ensuring security and performance.
• Use AI coding agents for code generation and production-ready output.
• Review and own AI-generated code for safety and reliability.
• Integrate AI workflows into CI/CD and manage multiple streams.
• Act as hands-on player/coach to upskill peers in AI-first delivery.
• Apply banking domain knowledge to deliver business outcomes.
